【摘要】:Thismethodisusedtodocumenttheabilityofsolidwasteresourcerecoveryseparatorstoconcentrateorclassifyaparticularcomponent(orcomponents)presentinsolidwaste.Thepuritydeterminedinthiswayisusedtocalculatetherecoveryachievedbyaseparatorasanothermeasureofitsperformance,accordingtoTestMethodE1108.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecompositionofamaterialsstreaminasolidwasteresourcerecoveryprocessingfacility.Thecompositionisdeterminedwithrespecttooneormoredefinedcomponents.Theresultsareusedfordeterminingthepurityresultingfromtheoperationofoneormoreseparators,andinconjunctionwithTestMethodE1108usedtomeasuretheefficiencyofamaterialsseparationdevice.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forhazardstatements,seeSection7.
