【摘要】:ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardspecifies:a)proceduresforasingleprotocolforthetransferofdataandcontrolinformationfromonesessionentitytoapeersessionentity;b)themeansofselectingthefunctionalunitstobeusedbythesessionentities;c)thestructureandencodingofthesessionprotocoldataunitsusedforthetransferofdataandcontrolinformation;Theproceduresaredefinedintermsof:a)theinteractionsbetweenpeersessionentitiesthroughtheexchangeofsessionprotocoldataunits;b)theinteractionsbetweenasessionentityandthesessionserviceuserinthesamesystemthroughtheexchangeofsessionserviceprimitives;c)theinteractionsbetweenasessionentityandthetransportserviceproviderthroughtheexchangeoftransportserviceprimitives.TheseproceduresareapplicabletoinstancesofcommunicationbetweensystemswhichsupportthesessionlayeroftheOSIReferenceModelandwhichwishtointerconnectinanopensystemsenvironment.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardalsospecifiesconformancerequirementsforsystemsimplementingtheseprocedures.Itdoesnotcontaintestswhichcanbeusedtodemonstratethisconformance.ThetextpertainingtothesymmetricsynchronizationfunctionalunitisnotapplicabletothesupportofITU-Tapplications.
