【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesarapid,economicalmethodfordeterminationoftransformationtemperatures.Measurementofthespecimenmotioncloselyparallelsmanyshapememoryapplicationsandprovidesaresultthatisapplicabletothefunctionofthematerial.Thistestmethoduseswire,tube,orstripsamples;thus,itisabletoprovideanassessmentoftheproductinitssemifinishedform.Thistestmethodmaybeusedonannealedsamplestodeterminethetransformationtemperaturesandassurethealloyformulation,sincechemicalanalysisisnotpreciseenoughtodetermineadequatelythenickel-to-titaniumratioofshapememoryalloys.Transformationtemperaturesderivedfromthistestmethodmaydifferfromthosederivedfromothermethodsasaresultofeffectsofstrainandloadonthetransformationtemperature.ThetestmethodisapplicabletoshapememoryalloyswithAftemperaturesintherangeofapproximatelyx2013;25to+90x00B0;C.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedurefordeterminingthemartensite-to-austenitetransformationtemperaturesofeitherfully-annealedorheat-treatednickeltitaniumalloysbymeasuringthedeformationrecoveredduringthethermaltransformation.1.2ThevaluesinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgivenininch-poundunitsareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
