【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9797specifiessixMACalgorithmsthatuseasecretkeyandann-bitblockciphertocalcu-lateanm-bitMAC.Thesemechanismscanbeusedasdataintegritymechanismstoverifythatdatahasnotbeenalteredinanunauthorisedmanner.Theycanalsobeusedasmessageauthenticationmechanismstopro-videassurancethatamessagehasbeenoriginatedbyanentityinpossessionofthesecretkey.Thestrengthofthedataintegritymechanismandmessageauthenti-cationmechanismisdependentonthelength(inbits)kandsecrecyofthekey,ontheblocklength(inbits)nandstrengthoftheblockcipher,onthelength(inbits)moftheMAC,andonthespecificmechanism.ThefirstthreemechanismsspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC9797arecommonlyknownasCBC-MAC(CBCistheabbreviationofCipherBlockChaining).ThecalculationofaMACasdescribedinISO8731-1andANSIX9.9isaspecificcaseofthispartofISO/IEC9797whenn=64,m=32,MACAlgorithm1andPaddingMethod1areused,andtheblockcipherisDEA(ANSIX3.92:1981).ThecalculationofaMACasdescribedinANSIX9.19andISO9807isaspecificcaseofthispartofISO/IEC9797whenn=64,m=32,eitherMACAlgorithm1orMACAlgorithm3isused(bothwithPaddingMethod1),andtheblockcipherisDEA(ANSIX3.92:1981).ThefourthmechanismisavariantofCBC-MACwithaspecialinitialtransformation.ItisrecommendedforapplicationswhichrequirethatthekeylengthoftheMACalgorithmistwicethatoftheblockcipher.NOTES1Forexample,inthecaseofDEA(ANSIX3.92:1981),theblockcipherkeylengthis56bits,whiletheMACalgorithmkeylengthis112bits.2WhenusedwithDEA(whichisalsoknownasDES),thisalgorithmiscalledMacDES[12].Thefifthandsixthmechanismusetwoparallelinstancesofthefirstandfourthmechanismrespectively,andcom-binethetworesultswithabitwiseexclusive-oropera-tion.Theyarerecommendedforapplicationswhichre-quireanincreasedsecuritylevelagainstforgeryattacks(cf.AnnexB).ThefifthmechanismusesasinglelengthMACalgorithmkey,whilethesixthmechanismdoublestheMACalgorithmkeylength.ThispartofISO/IEC9797canbeappliedtothese-curityservicesofanysecurityarchitecture,process,orapplication.
